• Dr. Robert A Hanson , DVM

  
  

  Dr Hanson is a 1972 graduate of The Ohio State University. He started his veterinary career in West Virginia before moving to Beechwold Veterinary Hospital in 1973. Dr. Hanson joined Riverside in 1990. Dr. Hanson is the President of the Board of Directors of the corporation that owns Riverside Animal Care Center and Beechwold Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Hanson's professional interests include orthopedic surgery and ophthalmology. He is a member of the Columbus Academy of Veterinary Medicine, The Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, Sierra Veterinary Medical Association, Veterinary Professional Quest and Columbus State Animal Technology Advisory Committee. He is also a member and past president of Dublin-Worthington Rotary Club.  Dr. Hanson is married with 2 grown children, a granddaughter and a new grandson. He also has a Labrador Retriever named Woody. He enjoys golf, travel, snow skiing and being a grand parent.

• Dr. David M McGuffin , DVM, Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners

  
  

  Dr. McGuffin is a 1985 graduate of The Ohio State University. He started in a large and small animal practice in Lancaster,Ohio before coming to Riverside in 1987. Dr. McGuffin became a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practioners in canine and feline medicine in 1996. He is a board member of the corporation that owns Riverside Animal Care Center and Beechwold Veterinary Hospital.    Dr McGuffin's professional interests include gastrointestinal and hepatic diseases as well as oncology. He also does endoscopy for our hospital. He is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, Columbus Academy of Veterinary Medicine, Comparative Gastroenterology Society and the Veterinary Cancer Society.   Dr. McGuffin is married with 2 children and a cat and a dog. He enjoys golf, photography, woodworking and is a licensed soccer coach.

• Dr. Todd Kyle , DVM

  
  

  Dr Todd Kyle is a 1995 graduate of The Ohio State University. He also has undergraduate degrees in chemistry and zoology from OSU. Dr. Kyle practiced in a small animal practice in Maryland from 1995 to 1999. He then moved to Fairborn, Ohio (near Dayton) from 1999 to 2001. Dr. Kyle has been with Riverside Animal Care center since 2001. Dr Kyle's professional interests include small animal medicine and surgery. He also has an interest in exotics. He is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association and American Animal Hospital Association. Dr. Kyle lives in Worthington with his wife Karen and a daughter and new son, a tabbycat and newly rescued Golden Retriever. He enjoys running and hiking and is a big soccer fan.

• Dr. Catherine O'Keefe , DVM

  
  

  Dr. Catherine O'Keefe is a 2000 graduate of the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine.  Since graduating she has stayed busy finishing an internship at a VCA Chicago Veterinary Hospital in small animal medicine and surgery, working at MedVet in internal medicine and coordinating clinical trials in oncology at The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine.    Dr. O'Keeke is married with her 4 kids - Murray "the most beautiful Golden Retreiver ever", and the 3 cats Oliver, Milo and Pele.  She enjoys yoga and knitting.

• Michelle Wisecup

  
  

  Dr. Michelle Wisecup is a 2005 graduate of the Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine.  She continued her education by completing an internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Red Bank, NJ, one of the largest private practices in the US.  There she worked with board certified specialists in every field of veterinary medicine.  Since then she has been practicing small animal medicine in London, Ohio.  Her veterinary interests include emergency/critical care and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Wisecup spends her free time wakeboarding, golfing, and hiking with her black lab, Abby.  Michelle and her husband Chris are expecting their first child in March 2008.
